I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working in the Rohr Lab at the University of Notre Dame. My work generally focuses on studying the efficacy of vaccines in managing Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis in regions where the pathogen is now enzootic. This project is part of a larger collaboration with labs from three other universities. I completed my PhD at Florida International University in the lab of Alessandro Catenazzi. My work at FIU focused on amphibian populations in the Neotropics (check out the research tab!). I began my PhD at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale before moving (with our lab) to FIU in January 2018. In 2014 I graduated from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies where I worked with Dr. David Skelly on my Masters of Environmental Science. While at FES I worked for the Peabody Museum of Natural History as an assistant in Vertebrate Zoology. Prior to FES I received my BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut where I worked with Dr. Mark Urban.
In addition to all that academic stuff i've spent my free time as a camp director at Camp Hope in Litchfield, CT, an EMT instructor for Hartford Hospital, a field hockey coach, a substitute teacher and a whole bunch of other awesome experiences.
